  1. (I'd have liked a better sense of what the organising logic of the whole thing was supposed to be, and why particular decisions had been made. At one point I was looking at a book ostensibly of pictures of the different castes in India, and Paul pointed out that the display case was in the section of the exhibition that seemed to deal mostly with Britain cataloguing exotic flora and fauna. Which ... makes sense, for colonial Britain, but should surely require signalling of some sort?)
  2. Louis Allday examines a couple of particular instances in some depth here. His is a much more detailed review of the exhibition, and is well worth reading. Also really good and detailed is this thread of tweets by @AyoCaesar.
