The topic came to mind on June 11 for a couple of reasons: 1) The date would have been my father's 91st birthday, but he passed from this world at 47 in 1972. As a Baby Boomer in the generation that was born immediately after WWII and grew up in the 50s and 60s, I often wonder what Al Vernon Foxworth would think of these times had he lived to see today's world. The second reason that #Memorials
are mindful today is that I have been reading the Facebook posts of a high school companion of mine who has recently suffered the tragic loss of her first-born daughter. A most unspeakable grief for any parent! ▶ STORIFY ▶ POSTED TODAY
