  1. Cougs, Zags Represent On All-International Teams

  2. Congratulations are in order for one Washington State Cougar and several Gonzaga Bulldogs today. The Cougars' Brock Motum and Gonzaga's Kevin Pangos were named to the second team of the NetScouts' All-International awards. The Zags' Elias Harris was named to the third team while Robert Sacre received honorable mention. 

    NetScouts is a network of both US regional and international scouts located througout the world.
  3. Washington State's Denzell Dotson arrested

  4. Denzell Dotson is a 6'2" 317 pound offensive lineman from Peoria, AZ. According to the Pullman Police log: 

    12-P03000 DUI                           01:18:35 04/08/12 Ryan McNannay   ACT

     

             1049 NE Colorado St & NE D St, PULLMAN, WA 99163

     

    Denzell L. Dotson (DOB: 09-15-1993) was arrested for DUI.

  5. The Spokesman-Review's Christian Caple with a quick story on Dotson's arrest. Caple reports that Dotson's "blood-alcohol level (was) in the .088 to .09 range. The legal blood-alcohol limit for minors in Washington is .02." 

    No word from Coach Mike Leach or Washington State yet as to any future action that may or may not be taken. Will he be kicked off the team for his arrest? A marijuana arrest got Sekope Kaufusi kicked off the Cougars. Will the same fate befall Dotson? Will the zero-tolerance policy hold true for Dotson?

  9. Spring Football: Defense; Coach Leach Profile, Interview

  10. As The Spokesman-Review's Christian Caple pointed out over the weekend, defense dominated the first spring scrimmage for the Washington State Cougars. Twelve sacks were recorded in Saturday's scrimmage. Seven different defensive players had a sack for the Cougars' defense. Practice resumes on Tuesday afternoon.
