You may think that this video is ridiculous, but I have personally experienced this phenomenon.
It defies rational thinking...
but not for psychologists.
My brother was a happy-go-lucky kid when they put him on ritalin at a young age.
He was swiftly put on antidepressants as well.
The general public has no idea that most so-called psychological "disorders" are simply symptoms of other underlying problems like allergies or poor diet.
People get very defensive or they embrace this notion.
Would it hurt to consider that there are healthy ways to deal with these disorder?
Clearly for extreme cases psychotropic drugs may be necessary... but our "fast food" society would rather pop a pill than get to the root of the issue.
