How does time play a role in the interpretation, creation and distribution of digital products? How are we teaching and learning about fast and slow interpretation and creation? What strategies and practices have people taken up to address collapsed timeframes between creation & distribution?

  2. It's funny, @Dr_Pendergrass. Last week we trended as #literacies chat. Tonight it might be us & crickets! I know some are going to be late.
  3. It's especially apropos for #literacies topic tonight. We could consider the timing of chats, interpreting chats & relation to # of people.

  8. So, I wonder if pace is afforded or constrained by texts....or if it is a choice. #literacies OR both.
  9. Students (of all ages) need time to tinker, think, and play with literacies and I often forget and rush, rush, rush #literacies
  10. I think it's more about individuals knowing they need time to tinker and think and using texts as tools to assist. #literacies
  11. @Dr_Pendergrass I'm completely impatient when it comes to interpretation and ideas. I want it to come instantly. #literacies
  12. Going meta:I have to say that I am already enjoying this slower pace of tonight's #literacies chat. It's definitely a different experience.
  13. @mhall78 Agreed. Too often students think if they can't get it right immediately, they should abandon task/give up. #literacies
  14. @writerswriting Slow pace is different. I feel more able to think instead of scrambling to follow. #literacies
