World Press Photo 2013 Judging – Photo Contest

The judging around the 56th annual photo contest is starting and will certainly be an exciting time again. On Storify we'll share interesting bits, tweets and backstories around the judging process, so come back for daily updates!

  1. An international jury of leading professionals in the field of photojournalism worldwide will judge the entries at the World Press Photo office in Amsterdam from 2 February until 14 February 2013. The 56th World Press Photo Contest will be chaired by Santiago Lyon, vice president and director of photography for The Associated Press, USA who is replacing Gary Knight, UK, founder photographer of VII Photo Agency. 

    His fellow jury members are:
