  6. Hey @clark_stefani Oh no, Neil and I hang out all the time. We talk space, sci ed, tv performing, & changing the world. #WHChat
  7. Hey @jharm360 in planetary science, it's a golden age. No one can do what NASA does. We have missions on 7 of 8 planets. We need re-balance.

  12. Why should we consider increasing funding of our space program? #WHChat
  13. .@MilesCurry Why increase funding for space exploration, you ask? There is no greater force on ambition than NASA's vision
  14. @neiltyson, Mr. President, how do u plan 2 focus on increasing math & science education, when the right is vehemently opposed to it #WHChat
  15. Hey @kraegarth, we need to celebrate science and math, recruit another excellent 100K teachers. See wh.gov/stem
  16. @neiltyson & @thescienceguy Which area of science do you think is of the highest priority at this time?
  17. Hey @leapofawesome, right now, the key seems to be algebra. If we can do a better job teaching algebra, we could engage many more sci kids.
  18. .@LeapOfAwesome Most important area of science today? All of them. And it's their cross-pollination that breeds innovation.
  19. @neiltyson #WHChat - the US still uses the imperial system. Is this not limiting international cooperation?
  20. Hey @maximharper the English/Imperial system holds us back. That said, more of us are using Celsius, liters and Watts (they're metric).
  21. @TheScienceGuy Why is there so little good science programming for kids? We need more real science for kids on TV! #WHchat
