BBE students remember their teacher, coach
A Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa math teacher and head wrestling coach, Richard Vos, was killed early Tuesday in a semi-bicycle accident on U.S. Highway 71 south of Belgrade. On social media sites, current and former students shared stories and memories of their teacher.
- It still doesn't seem right.. just yesterday you were over my shoulder helping me with a question i couldnt understand and you were always there for everyone when they needed it! Math just kinda clicked to me when you were teaching and if it wasn't, you stopped and made sure everyone understood it before we moved on. Walking into the Math room 1st hour everyday just won't be the same.. ever again. If we could go back 12 hours and get you to stay at your house for only a few minutes longer, none of this would have happened. Mr. Vos was my favorite teacher, between the good days and all the jokes or the bad days and the headaches you will be missed! You were a great teacher, friend, coach, father, and husband! I will never forget you.. I remember when you'd come around to check our boards and if i ever got something wrong you'd help me through it and we'd joke around.. Just the smallest little things are the best memories. You have made a big impact on our community and I thank you for everything you've done. R.I.P Mr. Vos <3 We love and miss you. This isn't a goodbye it's a see you later. <3

Mr. Vos will be greatly missed by all and tomorrow is gonna be one of the hardest days for the BBE Community as we lay to rest Mr. Vos our beloved teached, coach, friend, and a father to his 2 wonderful childrenmore2012-10-19T12:45:14.610Z
