Day One: Secretary Duncan visits Wisconsin and Iowa
Secretary Arne Duncan is visiting WI and IA, April 18-19, to discuss college affordability, elevating the teaching profession, fostering community partnerships in ed, as well as training & retraining youth & adult students to enter the workforce through effective career & technical ed programs.
- Duncan started the day in Madison, Wis., where he hosted a college affordability town hall with students at East High School, followed by a question-and-answer session.
