What to do about the river roads
After the bus crash on Soldiers Field Road, do we need to do more to keep people from getting maimed by drivers who ignore warning signs?
How many crashes need to happen before we even start to think about changing Storrow/Soldiers Field? @universalhub

@onlyanumber @universalhub Exactly. The “Cars Only” signs will hit an oversize vehicle. Maybe they need another set that says “We Mean It!”

@universalhub I don't think native Bostonians understand how bizarre the low bridges on Storrow/Soldiers Field are to non-natives.

@caulkthewagon @universalhub Low bridges might be more common here, but the signs saying how tall they are are the same elsewhere.- @universalhub People keep saying to me, "but there are signs!" Yeah, there are signs, but people ignore them. The signs aren't a solution.

@caulkthewagon @universalhub there are plenty of parkways w low bridges around NYC, Long Island and CT. Its not unique, these are old rds
@universalhub I once cleared the warning bar to get on storrow but had to get off because a bridge was 2 ft lower than bar. Need consistency
