connect.BASF won the Community Communication category of PR >11 (Der International Duetsche PR-Preis 2011), an award thanks to our 2000 communities on connect.BASF - our 2.0 platform for online business network of BASF.

It is a great recognition for our advocates, community builders and active users among the 26,500 employees who joined in and co-created verities of business communities across units and regions on the social platform.

We shall thanks to IT support from IBM, and our in-house BASF IT service who implemented the platform according to your requests.

We would like to say thanks also to our #e20 friends and the social business council (formally, 2.0 Adoption Council, lead by +Susan Scrupski ) for sharing their knowledge with us. 
Our special thanks also go to +Luis Suarez, +Peter Schuett and +Oscar Berg and others for their contributions as guest speackers in various connect.BASF Day - our community events.
