Eighteen hours into the MTV O Music Awards

The journey continues across the MIssissippi Delta for the O Music Awards

  1. We're a bit behind schedule and The Flaming Lips might or might not break the record. The night went buy like the speed of light and before we knew it we were in Jackson and then Hattiesburg where the entire town came out to see the performance at 7am. Here are highlights through the 18th hour.

  7. Next we headed to Biloxi's Hard Rock Cafe Hotel and Casino where Neon Tress opened for the Lips.

  9. As we were about to board the main bus for an impromptu press conference, we caught up with Amanda Mochan, the Guinness World Records Adjudicator who's the authority on if the Lips will live within the guidelines to break the record.
