U.S. election: #DrunkNateSilver takes over Twitter
Political polling analyst Nate Silver predicted that Barack Obama would receive 51 per cent of the popular vote during the 2012 election and called each of the 50 states, including all nine battlegrounds. But what would happen if he was drunk? The Twitterverse had fun and took some guesses.
- The hashtag #DrunkNateSilver started trending on Twitter, with people having fun coming up with what a drunk Nate Silver might do or say while drunk. Apparently, he's still a mathematical whiz either way. Parody Twitter accounts also started popping up.
