Toronto plastic bag ban: Twitter responds
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford moved to scrap the five-cent plastic bag fee. City council agreed, but also voted to scrap the bags entirely as of Jan. 1, 2013. Ford later said "it's the people's fault" while on a radio show. It didn't take long for Twitter to perk up with people commenting on all the news.
