Reactions on Twitter to Tuesday's health-care arguments at the Supreme Court

  1. Tweets reflected skepticism that conservative justices could be convinced to uphold the insurance mandate.
  2. Argument is done. Gov't has a shot at Kennedy, Alito, and Roberts. But no clear fifth vote. All commerce, no tax power.
  3. Would love to tweet you some zingers delivered from the pro-Obamacare side. There weren't any.
  4. After a tough day in front of the justices, some wondered about how the soliciter general fared:
  5. Counterfactual time: Would solicitor general Elena Kagan have done a better job before the Court?
  6. If anyone needs him, solicitor general will be down at the bar
  7. Conservatives, meanwhile, seemed pleased with how the day went.
  8. I haven't been this excited to listen to an audiotape since I got "Abbey Road" as my first 8-track.
  9. And, as often happens on Twitter, the quick consensus that the health care law is in trouble was soon met by quips cautioning people not to go too far.

  10. I wonder if any of the justices read Twitter so they will know how to rule.
