Police identify student who killed himself at Stillwater Junior High School12:07: The superintendent for Stillwater Public Schools said the eighth-grader who shot himself in the head with a handgun at the junior ...- 7:57 Sept. 26, 2012 R.I.P. Cade Poulos -SJHS will never be the same. I was there & will never be able to get that image out of my head. Bullying needs to stop & hopefully this was a wake up call. I will never be able to walk down Mrs. Millers hallway again. One thing can make someone do permanent damage. Prayers are going out to his family & friends. No one should be bullied to where they think they have to take their own life.3
- If you're in Stillwater and want to show support for Cade Poulos, go to Highland Park United Methodist at 7 p.m. tonight. #Stillwater #SJHS
- Could not have said it any better..... Thanks Kristie ~Via:Kristie Longan. Cade, I'm sorry that you had to leave us in order for people to start focusing once again on love instead of hate. I know you're at perfect peace in this very moment... I thank you for everything you brought to us in your short life. My heart is full of gratitude for your presence here. You have the face of pure light and love and I see myself in your eyes. Return to love sweetheart... may your death give rise to us remembering where we come from and who we truly are. Peace.
- As I type this, tears are streaming down my face, and my hands are shaking from sadness. We failed this boy. And we are failing countless other kids. When are we going to WAKE UP and understand that bullying hurts. Bullying kills. And our kids are learning bullying from us, the adults, and from television/radio/media. Some of Cade's classmates are speaking out about his life and how he was picked on and bullied. It's time we have some HONEST and HARD conversations here. This affects all of us. My heart is breaking for Cade -- the place he chose to take his own life tells us a lot. He wanted to show the bullies the physical pain they were causing. He wanted them to know that they bullied him to death.
- My thoughts and prayers go out to the kids and families affected by the shooting at Stillwater Jr High today. #unbelieveable
