1. Parking reform: Asm. Skinner introduced AB 904 today. Lower parking requirements near transit at no cost to cities or developers.
  2. @MarketUrbanism Environmental groups, builders, affordable housing groups are supporting. Unbelievably, the APA looks poised to oppose!
  3. @mottsmith Also I remember last time around aff hsg folks didn't like that it took away incentive to provide units...any oppo now from them?
  4. @mottsmith Like, reduce pkg was used as an incentive to get devs to build aff hsg & allowing lower pkg by right would remove incentive
  5. @MarketUrbanism That was the worry. The solution is to lower requirements for all, and lower even more for those building low-income units.
  6. @MarketUrbanism We included an incentive for affordable, which *most* like. Some remain concerned, but more have warmed.
