1. On campus, Leah is involved with Hill Communications, Got Consent? Be SU.R.E., Relay for Life, Jerk magazine, women’s choir and SU's student social media team. She was an intern at Dixon Schwabl Advertising last summer.
  2. If you could tell a current or incoming student just ONE thing about SU, what would it be?
  3. There is always something happening on campus, something new to join or become a part of. At Syracuse, everyone can find his or her niche. I definitely recommend that new students get as involved as possible. It’s the best way to make the most of Syracuse as your new home.
  4. What is your favorite SU memory?
  5. There are so many I can’t decide! Maybe the 'Cuse vs. Duke basketball game of my freshman year. I waited hours to watch them play and it went into double overtime before we won!!
  6. Hey, SU! My name is Leah Strassburg, and I'm taking over the account for this week! I'm currently studying in Berlin through the World Partners Program, but at our home campus, I am involved in Hill Communications, Relay for Life, PRSSA, #44Social, Jerk Magazine, women's choir, and any other opportunities I can fit into my schedule. Berlin has so much to do and to see, and I look forward to sharing my week with you all! - LS #SyracuseU

  7. Berlin is full of history. On one of my class excursions we went to visit the East Side Gallery, which consists of some of the remaining pieces of the Berlin Wall that are painted by artists around the world. This photo was taken by my host mom on November 9, 1989, after East Berliners charged the wall and broke the barrier between East and West. Hundreds of people came to the wall to pop champagne and celebrate. The next day, Soviet soldiers stood in the same place that these people are sitting. #SyracuseU -LS

  8. One of the amazing things about studying abroad this time of year is watching Europe get decked out for the holidays! I love checking out Christmas markets and finding hand-made ornaments. There are over 80 "Weihnachtmärkte" (Christmas markets) in Berlin alone! The decorations and warm drinks are part of the winter culture here. I took this picture at one of the largest Christmas markets right in front of the Charlottenburg Palace ✨ #SyracuseU -LS

  9. The Berliner Dom during the Festival of Lights! Each year, Germany lights up its biggest memorials throughout the city, and tons of people come to see it. In October, many of my friends and I went "monument hopping" to watch our favorite places transform under colored lights! #FestivalofLights #Berlin #SyracuseU -LS

  10. Here's a picture of my host family with me at the Opera in Berlin! I've had an amazing experience living with them and even picked up on some German. Studying abroad isn't complete without getting a taste of the culture, and having a host family gives you many opportunities to do so! #SyracuseU - LS
