Tips for Respecting Privacy with Storify
Are you working on a public Storify story? Keep these simple tips in mind for following the proper "netiquette" concerning the content you find online.
- The Storify Editor has many ways to find public social media for your stories. While browsing the web, the Storify bookmarklet and Chrome extension can also be used to quickly save images, articles or anything else you see:

When in Doubt, Ask
- Many things we say online are harmless, and often people are happy to know that someone cared about what they said and wanted to share it more widely by publishing their words with Storify.
- Sweet! RT @SueZoldak: @NuberTweets You've been quoted in my @Storify story: "PAC Grassroots Conference 2013 sfy.co/oDD0”
- But if you think someone might have an issue with being quoted publicly, ask about it before publishing. It's common courtesy, and an easy way to avoid awkward situations with friends or colleagues.
- And hey, we're here for you too. If you ever have questions about features, policies or how much the Storify team enjoys saying the word "netiquette," drop us a line. We're available via support[at]storify[dot]com
- Thanks!-- Your friends at Storify
