Dahlia's Birthday Campaign
One baby's quest to raise $5000 and bring clean water to people who have none.
- TO CELEBRATE DAHLIA'S 1ST BIRTHDAY, WE DECIDED TO DO A FUNDRAISER TO MAKE IT ALL THAT MORE MEANINGFUL. WE CHOSE CHARITY:WATER AS THE ORGANIZATION WE WOULD BE RAISING MONEY FOR, AND WE SET A GOAL OF $5000 - THE COST OF ONE COMPLETE WATER PROJECT.WE HAD TO GET THE WORD OUT, AND BEGIN RECRUITING PEOPLE TO SUPPORT THE CAUSE!
- First we sent out an email with the following cartoon attached:
- Then we found out a lot of people didn't get the first email! So we sent a second comic along with the first one:
- Finally what everyone had been waiting for: a video from Dahlia herself showing her devotion to the cause.
- After the video, we sort of took a walk off the deep-end with a new Internet meme: LoLDahlz
- Warning: This is not for the faint at heart, pregnant women, or anyone requiring the assistance of a pacemaker.
