  18. I aimed to keep things quite open with general questions. The main benefits were seen to be networking, information sharing, feedback and promoting research. However research collaborations, teaching, and finding research participants were also mentioned.

  20. One of the main benefits for me is finding out about pubs that I wouldn't have seen otherwise #ECRchat
  21. @snarkyphd A1. Raises profile, lets me share work in progress, find out what others are doing, build community, share resources. #ecrchat
  22. And for academia.edu, finding out where in the world people are Googling you and what search terms they use :) #ECRchat
  23. A1. Networking has been an excellent bonus for me. Plus I have extended my knowledge base on other disciplines. #ECRchat #ecrchat
