Highlights from #RomneyBainMovieLines

I started the #RomneyBainMovieLines hashtag to spoof the fuzzy details and denials about Mitt Romney's relationship to Bain Capital between 1999 and 2002. It picked up some steam and was a lot of fun. There's too many great contributions to highlight them all, but here are a few:

  1. "Toto, I have a feeling we're not creating jobs in Kansas anymore." #RomneyBainMovieLines
  2. #RomneyBainMovieLines "My mama always said, 'Life is like a box of pink slips'."
  3. "Surely, you were CEO of Bain." "I was not CEO, and don't call me Shirley." #romneybainmovielines
  4. "Tax returns? We aint got no tax returns! We dont need no tax returns! I don't have to show any stinking tax returns!" #RomneyBainMovieLines
  5. "I retired from Bain in 1999". "You keep using that word, 'retired'. I do not think it means what you think it means". #RomneyBainMovieLines
  6. Don't show me the money, as I'm only signing the SEC documents and have no actual involvement in our business deals. #RomneyBainMovieLines
  7. #RomneyBainMovieLines "You know how to outsource, don't you? Just put your jobs together and blow"
