Would you buy an inferior tablet, over an iPad, if it was priced at less than $200? #RWWBigQuestion

Many of you took offense at the way the question was phrased. Honestly, that's a fair assessment. I meant inferior to mean one that was less than what you wanted, and added iPad after the fact. Read altogether it does seem biased. Apologies.

  1. Yes, for a steal.

@RWW I see a role for "cheap" tablets. Didja see the AT&T ad in which an EMT shows inbound patient to a doc via a tablet? That's the future.

@RWW Yes, If it is powered with Android, as a toy for kids. But it may end up as a video player, if its an inferior quality

@RWW It depends on whether I felt the community was going to rise up to make the low priced tablet more useable.

@RWW I am right now waiting for the TouchPad to drop in price any minute in the UK. It'll tide me over nicely till the iPad 3.

@RWW #RWWBigQuestion - Yes, if it had a richer browsing experience ie: including Flash. This is still a major pain with the IOS devices.

@RWW I’d buy a tablet cheaper & dumber than an iPad if it did one thing really well. Like a Kindle, for instance. #RWWBigQuestion

we got an HP Touchpad here in Canada yesterday for our father in law who is not an Apple guy, he's thrilled! I love my Samsung Tablet with Flash. I had one of the first iPads in Canada (I won it from simplyhired.com) and I found it was too big.

Depends on it's performance ehancements? If the discrepancy is really big, may not be worthwhile

i bought the galaxy tab about 6 months ago for $200. The only issue I have with it is battery life. Since I never used an iPad, I cannot say which I prefer.

Well I love my NookColor and it was only $249. I definitely think it was the best choice for me and if I had to do it over again I wouldn't choose differently.
