Mrs. Rucker at Main Street Elementary. She is the sweetest, most intelligent, time-giving, selfless, patient, understanding, fun, honest and ultimately loving teacher I have ever known. I adore her and so does my child. She truly loves her job and puts 110% into it. The school and children are so very lucky to have her there. Mr. Todd Wilson at Lakeview Middle School. Why? Because I'm married to him :) But more importantly he is such an asset to the community. He teaches all 6 periods at Lakeview. He has a way of connecting with the students on another level. He is always bumping into former students and checkin on them. "How are you doing in school" "Going to college?" "Staying out of trouble?" And the students eagerly answer all the questions. He also coaches the JV softball team at Aptos High School where he too checks up on their softball skills and life skills. ohhhhh the memories.... My kids are grown and gone, but one of my favorite things I did for my kids teachers was having all the kids in the class bring a bouquet of flowers, and have them *hide* in the garden area before school. After the bell rang, they walked single file with their flowers (with the teachers wondering where all their kids were haha) and singing, for she/he's a jolly good teacher. Mrs. Bauerle from Brook Knoll was showered with TONS of flowers!!! Ohhh.... the good ole days....
