I used two strips of leftover thick-cut bacon. Chop.</div><div><br /></div>Put a small amount of&nbsp;water in a pot on&nbsp;medium heat. Commence adding ingredients until boiling, then reduce to simmer.<div><br /></div><div>Chop an onion.&nbsp;Dump it in.</div><div><br /></div><div>Sprinkle in the&nbsp;crushed red pepper and ground black pepper.</div><div><br /></div><div>Chop or string some carrots. Dump them in.</div><div><div><br /></div><div>Peel and chop the potatoes.
