A series of small to mid-sized earthquakes jolted San Diego County and Southern California twice Sunday with shakers measuring 5.3 and 5.5, said the US Geological Survey. Social media was quick to react.

What my mother in-law called and told us that San Diego got hit with a earthquake. Thank God it wasn't a bad one. And we we slept through it. Didn't feel a thing.

A normal persons check off list when a earthquake hits 1. Grab family and head for safety 2. Check for an injuries 3. Once earthquake is done check for damages 4. Then gather info on earthquake and share with friends and neighbors to make sure they stay safe. A Facebook addict check off list when a earthquake hits. 1. Update status before anyone else does. 2. See if anyone comments on their post. 3. Try to take video of it. 4. Now run out for safety after their family is already outside shaking their head at you. Hahahaha never fails.

Just checked the earthquake reporting site and discovered that there have been 91 recorded shakes in the last eight hours in the area of the Salton Sea in southern California! For all the years I have been checking on earthquakes, I have never seen anything like this in the site!! They range from around 5.5 downward to around 3.0! What in the world is going on down there? This is a swarm of swarms.

We had 3 Earthquake in 1 hour this afternoon 5.3. Then 4.9. And 5.5 I sure hope are done for today not fun !!!!

Since 7:00 am we have had 198 earthquakes within 3 miles of Brawley and they are still happening. We're officaly freaked out cause they keep on happening every couple of minutes. Damages: Broken Water Heater, a few Family Heirlooms, and pantry items. But the worst was was my Denver Bronco Tiffany Lamp - Whaaaay! 3 of the quakes over 5.0. Checking my Earthquake Insurance now.
