Once again there are repeated reports of violence against members of the press:

Police reported to have used a military device called LRAD (Long Range Acoustic Device), which sends low frequency sonic waves to disperse protesters:

Protesters have remained peaceful, using civil disobedience techniques like sitting down peaceful to hold assemblies.

As the march advanced chanting "out of the office, onto the street!", a man responded by stepping out on a window ledge and encouraging protesters.

There were some very minor scuffles as police-men forced protesters onto the sidewalks.

May 27th, Barcelona eviction attempt

On May 27th, the first serious violent ocurrence. Police tries to evacuate Barcelona's encampment - the second biggest of the country. Demonstrators who were at the square in the moment resisted to beats and received the support of thousands who came just after. As a result, the occupiers kept #AcampadaBCN alive.

Mayor Bloomberg's office issued the following statement on Twitter just as the raid began:

The following video shows one of the only views from the inside while the raid was taking place. Towards the end it seems tear was used, although this isn't confirmed and by the people's reaction it might not be the case.

Many reports prove widespread violence against journalists carried out by NYPD. @JoshHarkinson (from @MotherJones) confirms that many members of the press were penned in. He delcares to have been physically hauled off the scene after showing police he was a reporter.
