Susan Anderson, RN set out in the blizzard at 3:45 am Thursday on cross-country skis to get to work in <a href="https://www.facebook.com/marygreeleymedicalcenter?ref=stream&group_id=0" class="">Mary Greeley Medical Center</a>’s Oncology Unit, where she’s been a nurse for 12 years. Today is Anderson’s day off, but she says she didn’t want the unit to be short staffed if other employees had difficulties getting in. She lives in north Ames and said it took her about an hour to make her way to the hospital. Mary Greeley Medical Center never closes. And that certainly says a lot about our caring and dedicated staff. · Mary Greeley Medical Center
