I quickly identified that one of the two bloggers was located several labs over at the <a href="http://www.uottawa.ca/welcome.html" style="color: #429ec6;">University of Ottawa</a>, where I do postgrad&nbsp;research in biochemistry. A medalist in two marathons and a PhD. student in exercise physiology, <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/travissaunders" style="color: #429ec6;">Travis Saunders</a> was exactly the kind of student that would stand out to young students looking at science as a future career option.<div><br /></div><div>After completing an interview for our <a href="http://peerreviewradio.com/?p=651" style="color: #429ec6;">fourth episode</a>, I brought up the <a href="http://scienceblogs.com/clock/2010/07/the_pepsigate_linkfest.php" style="color: #429ec6;">Pepsigate affair</a> (a.k.a. a mass exodus of bloggers from Scienceblogs.com) simply because I was excited to get <a href="http://www.obesitypanacea.com/2010/07/obesity-panacea-bids-adieu-to.html" style="color: #429ec6;">someone's take from the inside</a>.
