The intersection of E. Raymond Avenue and Mt. Vernon Avenue is a nightmare in the mornings. Drivers blast past you in defiance of 15 mph speed limit and won't stop at the crosswalk where they're required to yield to pedestrians. Lots of kids (and their sleepy parents) need to cross there to get to school. I'm trying to figure out how to best make the case to Alexandria that it needs to do something here -- any ideas?
