#OccupyOakland 2012 "Decolonize" March: Treason?
A lot of revolutions wait until after achieving victory to split into factions that denounce each other as traitors, but after a year of Occupy Oakland attempting to ignite foco-theory street theater consciousness-raising incidents, there's still no global revolution in sight. What do?
- Still no revolution after a year of sporadic street-seizing marches that sometimes turn into property-smashing black block actions? Occupy doesn't see that as any reason to change tactics, and planned a weekend full of radical decolonization events in the Bay Area, to protest Columbus Day!

Gathering now at Bradley Manning plaza! #fuckcolumbus- The 3pm daylight Saturday march blocked traffic & began smashing windows & cars & slashing tires, black block style, using weapons including a hammer & ice pick. They also threw flares & bags full of paint & rocks at police.

The march which was adver...- Unlike previous property destroying direct actions where those who smashed windows were able to melt back into the crowd & avoid arrest, this time police reacted almost immediately, swiftly arresting 22 people, said to be facing serious charges of conspiracy to riot & assault.
- Apparently furious that this direct action turned out so differently than past ones, OOTAC, the militant wing of Occupy Oakland, turned on Oakland Commune, the pacifist wing, taking to Twitter to denounce them as traitors.

- And apparently the illusion of being actual guerilla factions and/or street gang leaders was so complete, these guys have apparently forgotten how Twitter works, and that all of these tweets are totally visible to everyone with internet, including the police.
