Music, Cybersecurity and Syria among TEDx Evansville talks

TEDx Evansville was built around the idea of “Pause.Play.Fast-Forward.” to encourage thoughtful progress; stopping to pause andassess an idea, then putting that idea into action (play), and finallyfast-forwarding action to create change. On October 1st, dynamic speakers usedthe concept of thoughtful progress to inform, inspire, surprise and delight.

  2. "Evansville has a lot of inspiring people and inspiring ideas that aren’t connected enough. All the time, I’m surprised to learn about people in our community who are doing interesting things, have interesting stories or interesting projects that others haven’t heard about. TED is all about ideas worth spreading. Through TEDxEvansville, we’re curating the best of Evansville all in one spot and placing attention on it.” Parsons
  3. Attendees, speakers and volunteers took selfies with the decorative X outside the Evansville Museum.
