The Failure of the Organization of the 17th Winter Deaflympics 2011 in the Vysoke Tatry that dictated the cancellation one week of the competition, shocked the world of Deaf Sports. The 10-day ICSD event was scheduled to begin on Feb. 18 in Vysoke Tatry, Slovakia. The ICSD executive board demanded an urgent meeting with the president of the Slovakian Deaflympics committee, Jaromir Ruda, to discuss all critical issues.
