- Current Open Government Partnership lead co-chair, the UK government, meets with next lead co-chair, the Indonesian government, to discuss how the two countries’ OGP leadership can make a positive impact and help implement open government initiatives around the world. Other topics of discussion include transparency as a core part of the UK’s 2013 presidency of the G8, plus the work of the High Level Panel on the post-2015 Development Agenda (the successor to the eight Millennium Development Goals). The discussions are attended by Francis Maude, UK Cabinet Office Minister; Dr Kuntoro Mangkusubroto, head of the President of Indonesia’s Delivery Unit for Development Monitoring; Warren Krafchik, Director of the Independent Budget Partnership and OGP Co-Chair for Civil Society; Rakesh Rajani, head of Twaneza and civil society representative on the OGP steering committee; and Linda Frey, Executive Director, OGP Support Unit.

1. Indonesia is currently the support Co-Chair of Open Government Partnership, w/ UK as Lead Co-chair since Sept 2012 cc @UKinIndonesia- The purpose of the session is to allow @opengovpart current leadership to: 1) reflect on successes and challenges of its 18 mth of existence
- Tujuan pertemuan ini adlh mempertemukan para pemimpin @opengovpart untuk: 1) merefleksikan keberhasilan & tantangan dlm 18 bln keberadaannya
- 2) mengidentifikasi dan mendiskusikan opsi-opsi strategis yg sedang dihadapi @opengovpart
- and 3) begin developing concrete proposals for a renewed strategic vision for @opengovpart going forward
- dan 3) memulai pengembangan usulan konkret untuk visi strategis @opengovpart selanjutnya
