Weingarten Calls for Moratorium on Common Core
In a speech to the Association for a Better New York, AFT President Randi Weingarten called for a moratorium in which students are tested and teachers are evaluated, but the data is used to respond to student and teacher needs instead of for high-stakes decisions.
