Support for Josh Jones on Twitter

A heart issue has forced Josh Jones to end his college basketball career during his senior season. Creighton fans had an outpouring of support for the senior guard on Wednesday following the announcement.

  1. After talking with Steven Pivovar of The World-Herald following Wednesday's Creighton practice, Jones announced his decision on Twitter.
  2. Today I would like to announce my early retirement 4rm my collegiate athletic career, and potentially further basketball aspirations.
  3. I'm may not have my career at bball anymore.but I do have my career in a healthy life and other successful opportunities. Thanks for support

  7. Just to clarify.....Josh Jones did not "quit" the game of basketball. He hasn't quit anything in his life. He had no choice.
