  1. Obama has just landed in Charlotte. Speech will be in arena. Can assure you it has been moved due to weather, not lack of interest!
  2. R's who say Obama speech move is not due to weather need to get off the golf course in Palm Springs. #dnc2012
  3. Another view of the big media barnyard where NYT et al have their makeshift offices. twitpic.com/arg4jq
  4. I'm pretty sure all the barricades in Charlotte spawned last night and had baby barricades. #totalclampdown
  5. Excuse radio silence -- was interviewing VA delegate @cjdumler from Scottsville. About to post some pics.
  6. Time to head back to the convention center from the @ppldnc, where I had some much-need brownies and beer. Hoping this is not an odyssey.
  7. What I thought was a security checkpoint only led to Chris Matthews.
  8. Passed these PETA activists on the way. I will tweet anyone in a pig suit. twitpic.com/aria97
  9. Opera glasses activated! I'll bet I'm the envy of the entire Periodical Press Gallery.
  10. You guys want to know what's on the podium that you can't see on TV? I have the power.
  11. There's a gavel, a teleprompter, a little light that goes from red to green, and a stress ball.
  12. I've spotted the back of Wolf Blitzer's head with my binocs. Let's see who else is down there...
  13. Oh yeah, there's the back of Anderson Cooper's head. Can see the entire CNN babblefest from behind.
  14. 240 years in a steel mill to make Romney money? Only lazy people would complain about that.
  15. For the record, my ideal ticket would be Elizabeth Warren-Elizabeth Warren.
  16. Bill Clinton is bringing the Elvis that this night needed. #dnc2012
  17. I realize this speech is aimed at swing voters, but the welfare reform BS seriously undercuts the first part as far as I'm concerned.
