  4. An Unlikely CKO Success Story (this one's for your Reebs) I love kickboxing. Yup. Love it. And no one is more surprised than me. You wouldn't know it to look at me. I'm 41, obviously overweight, although, from what I'm told, much less so than I was when I started taking classes at CKO Chatham in December.     I’m a forty-something Mom of a 2 year old who keeps me very busy. When I first started at CKO I couldn’t even do ONE sit up or push up! That really hit home with me because I used to be very athletic (cheerleading, gymnastics, soft ball, lifted weights and danced with my college team) After I had my daughter I started having nightm...ares and was thinking more and more about "what if someone were to attack me"?? I wouldn’t be able to defend myself or even think about running away. I didn’t want to be a mother whose kid ran her over either because I couldn’t keep up. I also want to set a good example for her. She comes to class with me on many occasions and she imitates things we do!!

  7. Suzy Rowe I wasn’t going to write anything because I felt that I wasn’t in a good place and I wouldn’t be positive. I’m actually learning just by writing this that I’ve reached a point where I just need to reevaluate some things and set new goals. This is all good stuff! CKO is not only helping me get stronger but is helping me to conquer my biggest enemy… ME! Working out is always challenging. I’ve got a good 17 years of doing nothing to make up for!     This is my experience: I joined kickboxing in September 2010 and ever since then I love it. It has really great music good instructors and i lost 18 pounds its real up beat and all the instructors are nice and movated and the people are really nice. I think out of all the gyms this is the best 1 our workout. Thank You Cko Bayonne

    I just want to thank CKO kickboxing for wipping my ass for the last two years. I've CKO'd about 30 lbs of the body. If you are tired of looking like you're working out and you actually want to work out CKO is the place. I remember my first day at CKO. In the middle of the class was asking myself what the F did I get into. I realized I was getiing into shape. There is one thing that I will warn you about and that is.. you will spend money buying new shirts,pants..etc..The old stuff will not fit. Oh and dropping off bags of pants and shirts at your neighborhood clothing drop of center.
