Multimedia Inspiration 101

I asked a simple question on twitter: If you had to show one video, youtube clip, animated short to a group of teens to INSPIRE them about the power of storytelling... Which one?

  1. SOME OF MY GO-TO ONES ARE:

  2. With this Rob Finch piece (which I wish I could find a higher res version of) the shot at the 1-minute mark gets me every time, and makes me think differently about how to approach video, and reminds me of the power of patience.
    .
  3. AND SOME OF THE GREAT SUGGESTIONS I GOT ON TWITTER ARE:

  4. @melissalyttle The first MM piece that showed me the true power of multimedia is @PGannawayPhoto 's "Remember Me."
  5. @melissalyttle @jamesmadelin La Luna is terrific. Sweet. Simply complex. Unexpected. Quite honestly, it is perfect. Thanks for reminding me.
  6. @melissalyttle Try the new Pixar short "La Luna"... or the older one "Abduction". Great great storytelling.
  7. @melissalyttle Last one (I think). Cool animated piece that inspires me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzg2jjH2z8E&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  8. @melissalyttle The other thought is something Pixar-ish, the opening to Wall-E or the Opening to Up are both brutal. But family friendly.
  9. @melissalyttle Pixar's montage in Up tells one of the most touching stories I've seen without even using words. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yjAFMNkCDo
  10. @melissalyttle Also love this piece @bhwilkoff mentioned recently. For some reason, believe it will resonate with you. bit.ly/LtJGg0
