  2. Highlights from the #google+ hashtag:
  3. Guy Kawasaki: seeing google + for first time was like first time seeing the Mac. Seriously? #sxsw #google+
  4. Gundotra sez #google+ is hard for people to understand until they experience it. It's beyond social. #sxswi
  5. The idea that Google could build a social layer across all services can be difficult to understand until you see it. - #sxsw #google+
  6. #google+ adoption now being measured in terms of monthly (100M) and daily (50M) actives instead of sign ups. All about engagement.
  7. "We didn't call the new version of Google "2.0" - we called it "+" @vicgundotra #sxsw #google+
  8. Our definition of Google+ user: someone signs up for G+, creates a profile, and comes back to G+ "optimized" service. #google+ #sxsw
  9. #Google+ is Google 2.0. Wait till you see how all of google comes together. Circles hangouts and instant uploads is just the beginning
  10. Users on Google+: with > 150 mill daily users its the fastest growing service within Google. #Google+ is Google2.0 #sxsw
  11. Vic: "It's a better approach to marry the best of social and commercial intent to show ads at THAT point." #google+ #sxsw
  12. Guy: "In other words.. The Facebook album ripoff of your albums show ads and you don't." - laughter / applause from room #google+ #sxsw
  13. Advertising will get better on all Google services BECAUSE of Google+. #sxsw
  14. Vic: An incredibly tiny number of users have turned off personalized search. #google+ #sxsw

  16. @JPGundotra takes full blame for lack of #API in Google+. Blames others (ahem FB) for polluting their feeds or 'screwing over devs' #SXSW
  17. The Google+ panel is awkwardly awesome. Go, Guy, Go! #sxsw
  18. "Can you put commas in the Google+ follower numbers?" #thingsguykawasakisays #SXSW
  19. On spam, @GuyKawasaki says Google+ was once a swimming pool with "no turds," and now "it's Caddyshack." (Look it up.) #sxsw
