President Barack Obama held a Twitter town hall Monday afternoon on the fiscal cliff negotiations. Mashable's Alex Fitzpatrick curated the event.

  20. @whitehouse what is your opposition to taking away deductions for the 2% rather than up the rate? Seems like a reasonable compromise #My2K
