Does BBC enjoy reporting on decline of local newspapers?

@petersands55 They should read why Warren Buffet has just bought 63 regional newspapers in America.
@petersands55 I understand why people feel sad at the loss of a daily, but not the perception that journalism stops once it goes weekly- @petersands55 Thanks for RT, Peter. It is a big loss when a long-established evening paper goes weekly, no matter how publishers spin it.

@petersands55 no doubt, which is rich given how thin regional TV news coverage is. The BBC 'Midlands' patch seems to cover half the country.
