- Welcome to Cafe BI (welcome done by Manti - prezi)Cafe BI is a knowledge cafe. It is a format to engage a group in conversation and surface tacit knowledge.
Juanita Brown and David Brown are recognised as pioneers for the knowledge café movement. They formed the World Café in 1995 and define it as “a conversational process based on a set of integrated design principles that reveal a deeper living network pattern through which we co-evolve our collective future” (The World Café: www.theworldcafe.com).
David Gurteen (www.gurteen.com) says that a knowledge café brings a group of people together to have an open, creative conversation on a topic of mutual interest to surface their collective knowledge, to share ideas and to gain a deeper understanding of the issues involved. The conversation ultimately leads to action in the form of better decision making and innovation. twendz : Exploring Twitter Conversations and Sentiment
