WWE presents SummerSlam live on PPV on Sunday, August 19 at 8 PM ET. This event will be broadcast live from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California. If you do not have PPV capability, you can order the show on WWE.com or watch it at a WWE Blast Area.

Matches Announced For This Show (Keep checking back for more updates)

Brock Lesnar (1-1) vs. Triple H (8-4)
Events leading to this match: Brock Lesnar signed a contract to rejoin the WWE and later forced John Laurinaitis to make some changes to the contract in order for him to show up for his first match with the company. WWE COO Triple H nullified the new deal which caused Brock to snap and break Triple H's arm. After the match was set, it was later announced that Shawn Michaels would be in the corner of Triple H for this bout. The following week, Brock broke Shawn's arm and because of that Shawn won't be in his friend's corner.

Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship: Champion CM Punk (3-3) vs. John Cena (4-5) vs. Big Show (4-0)
Rules of the match: All three men will compete against one another at the same time. The first man to score a pin fall or submission wins the match and walks out of the ring as the champion. CM Punk does not have to be pinned or forced to submit to lose the title.
Events leading to this match: At RAW 1,000, John Cena cashed in his Money in the Bank title shot against CM Punk but didn't win the title due to Big Show interfering in the match. The following week, Big Show and John Cena competed against each other in a #1 Contender's Match. That bout ended with CM Punk beating up both men. As a result, RAW General Manager AJ Lee ruled that Punk would have to defend the title at this event against both men in a Triple Threat Match.
