Highlight tweets from Dreamforce #df11

I woke up this morning to the SalesForce.com #df11 hashtag running through my Twitter stream. Dreamforce is the Salesforce.com conference that celebrates the social enterprise. Here's some of the tweets that grabbed my attention.

  1. Dell is one of the first enterprises that jumped into social media and continue to blaze a trail forward.  The following three tweets are in response to comments made by Adam Brown (@adamcb) from Dell.

  2. Dell has 5,600 people certified to speak on behalf of the company via social. Does your org doing this scare or thrill you? #df11
  3. RT @andrewspoeth: #df11 Dell measures 26,000 social media conversations per day, use @radian6 to process them.
  4. Don't play doctor as 'social media' rep; rather, empower the right people to engage and act. @adamcb #socialroadmap #df11
  5. A couple of tweets based on Gary Vaynerchuk's (@garyvee) panel comments.

  6. "What's the ROI of a piano? For me, $0.00. For Elton John, a lot." ROI on social media tools depends on the user @garyvee #df11
  7. I love traditional media, but the ROI is not modern. Outdoor billboards don't work, people aren't even looking at the road @garyvee #df11
  8. Great misc comment - 'Activity is not achievement'.
  9. "in the #social enterprise, Measure it, stick to the facts. Activity is not achievement" says @petercoffee at #df11
