Call to the Whitehouse for the Chagossians
For generations, the Chagossians lived on the Chagos Archipelago, a chain of 64 islands in the Indian Ocean. But in the 1960s, the U.S. and U.K governments displaced the Chagossians from their homeland to build a U.S. military base on the island of Diego Garcia. They need 25k signatures in 30 days.
- The Queen through the Privy council ordered the eviction of 2,000 Chagossians to make way for the construction of a US naval base for $2b p.a.. I have decided to boycott any street party in Kippen and refuse my knighthood. Rule Britannia refusingtokill.net/Chagos/c...

- Today I'm going to sign up to support a petition to The White House asking for the Chagos people to be allowed to return to their homeland in the Indian Ocean. I've worked to support the Chagos people in their unjust exile for nearly two years now. I would be so pleased if readers who loved my books joined with me in this. .whitehouse.gov/petitions#!...
