Just back from Amsterdam - heaven for cyclists :) now I can say from experience, London desperately needs to #GoDutch @london_cycling- Well done @valshawcross pushing FTA on mandatory cyclist-awareness training. Freight industry opposition is very disturbing.
@london_cycling FTA statement would feel more true to me if rephrased as "some lorry drivers never see cyclsists"...
@london_cycling Nah - it's proved by their survey of trucking across the Nullarbor Plain from Adelaide to Perth. (Tricks learnt from TfL)
