Sentencing Set For Dad Of 3 Missing Mich. Boys

Local 4's Jim Kiertzner is in the courtroom for the fate of John Skelton.

  1. Judge sentences Skelton to 10 to 15 years in prison for unlawful imprisonment of his sons, Andrew, Alexander and Tanner. End of hearing
  2. Judge Noe sentences Skeleton to 120 to 180 months. He refused at the last minute to say where the boys are.

  4. Asst prosecutor Douglas Hartung says to Skelton you are not man enough to say what happened to boys, no guts, no class a coward, evil
  5. Tanya Zuvers mom of boys says John Skelton Does not know where boys are or care and his stories are far fetched.
  6. Tanya, mother of the boys asked for max 15 year sentence. No one loved boys more and god is watching over them
  7. Glaser tells judge Skelton can't make a phone call to bring boys back. They are being kept until they are older. A bad decision
  8. Judge says pain to boy's mother, other school kids, the entire Morenci community. It is outrageous, be considered in exceeding guidelines
  9. Judge says Skelton continues to be in contempt of court for hiding the kids and subjecting them to potential physical and psych injury
