New iPad Screen Resolution Update Demystified

@dannysullivan it's because the resolution has been exactly double. that allows apps to be twice as sharp with 4x the pixels w/ same sizes.
@parislemon so sharper images, not more real estate, right? i'm trying to get the new twitter app to load now- @dannysullivan exactly. That's why doubling the resolution is key. Everything stays the same size.
- @dannysullivan if they did it the old PC way, everything would be tiny and hard to click/see. But yes, you'd have more screen space.
