Police Arrest Occupy Oakland Demonstrators
On Oct. 21 Oakland city officials warned Occupy Oakland demonstrators that their encampment near Oakland City Hall was illegal and that they might be arrested.
Early Oct. 25 demonstrators sent out a text message and Tweets saying they expected police action.

However, when a police presence was not immediately apparent, some Tweets reported confusion among the demonstrators.
